Chelsea have officially entered the race to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports from L’Équipe and David Ornstein.

The 19-year-old Argentina international has been the subject of increasing transfer speculation, and Chelsea are now among the clubs closely monitoring his situation.

The Blues are actively searching for a new winger in 2025, with Garnacho emerging as a key target alongside Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel and Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.

Napoli in the Race for Garnacho

Napoli are also strongly pursuing Garnacho as they prepare for a potential departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Serie A club is reportedly set to receive over €70 million for the Georgian winger and has identified Garnacho as an ideal replacement.

However, Napoli’s opening offer for Garnacho has already been rejected by Manchester United, leaving them with a decision on whether to increase their bid.

Chelsea Exploring Further Attacking Options

Chelsea’s interest in Garnacho aligns with their ongoing efforts to strengthen their attacking depth.

Reports suggest that the London club has also inquired about Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens as they evaluate multiple targets.

Garnacho, who has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, currently holds an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €37.1 million.

Man Utd’s Stance on Garnacho

Despite the growing interest, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has reiterated that Garnacho remains an important part of the club’s long-term plans.

“That is clear,” Amorim told reporters when asked about Garnacho’s future. “He has talent. He’s improving in training and adapting to our system. He’s learning to contribute defensively while maintaining his attacking instincts.”

While Chelsea and Napoli continue to monitor the situation, Garnacho’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain.

Whether the Red Devils will entertain further bids or hold firm on keeping him remains to be seen.
