Liverpool’s star forward, Mohamed Salah, has etched his name further into Premier League history, surpassing Frank Lampard on the league’s all-time goal-scoring chart.

The Egyptian international reached this milestone after netting a brace in Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Salah opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the first half before sealing the win with a second goal after the break.

With these two goals, Salah now has 178 Premier League goals, overtaking Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who slips to 7th place on the all-time scorers’ list.

He now trails only Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney, Andrew Cole, and Sergio Agüero in the rankings.

At 32 yearls old, Salah remains a key player for Liverpool, having already scored 21 goals this season.

However, speculation continues about his future, as his current contract with Arne Slot’s side is set to expire at the end of the season, and he has yet to sign a new deal.

Would Salah extend his legacy at Liverpool or seek a new challenge elsewhere? Only time will tell.
