João Félix has completed a loan move to AC Milan for the remainder of the season after struggling for playing time at Chelsea under Enzo Maresca.
The Portuguese forward, who joined Chelsea permanently last summer for £45m from Atlético Madrid, found himself sidelined due to competition from Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke, and Cole Palmer.
Most of his minutes came in the UEFA Conference League group stage.
Negotiations between Chelsea and Milan accelerated over the weekend, leading to an agreement that sees Milan cover Félix’s full wages and pay a loan fee of approximately £5m.
After passing his medical, he has now officially joined the Serie A side.
With the transfer window now closed, Félix was unavailable for Chelsea’s match against West Ham on deadline day.

His move also filled Chelsea’s final overseas loan slot, meaning any further exits had to be to domestic clubs.
In other deadline-day business, Ben Chilwell joined Crystal Palace on loan, while Aston Villa confirmed a late deal for Axel Disasi.
Borussia Dortmund also secured a loan move for Carney Chukwuemeka, with an option to buy.
Chelsea, meanwhile, wrapped up a £12m deal for Saint-Étienne midfielder Mathis Amougou as part of their ongoing squad restructuring.
