According to reports, Manchester City is considering a move for Paul Pogba, the former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder, once his doping ban ends in March 2025.
The 31-year-old French international, who was recently released by Juventus, could be available as a free agent, making him an attractive option for Pep Guardiola’s squad.
City’s interest comes amid concerns over midfield depth, particularly with injuries to key players like Rodri. Pogba’s technical ability and vision have reportedly caught Guardiola’s eye, and he could offer valuable experience and creativity to City’s midfield.
Despite the interest, Pogba may be hesitant about a move to Manchester due to his past at United, where he had a mixed tenure.
According to The Sun, City has informally approached Pogba about a potential transfer, but the midfielder is reportedly weighing his options, including potential moves to clubs in La Liga, Serie A, or the Bundesliga.
As reported by BBC Sport, Pogba is expected to return to football in March 2025, once his reduced doping ban is completed.
