Chelsea has finalized its decision regarding the future of Estevao Willian, a Brazilian sensation set to join the club from Palmeiras next summer.
According to Givemesport, the 17-year-old, dubbed “Messinho” for his impressive performances, will not be loaned out upon his arrival.
Chelsea’s management has secured guarantees of first-team football for Estevao, reflecting the club’s excitement over his talent.
Known for his exceptional dribbling and creativity, Estevao is expected to compete for the No. 10 role alongside Cole Palmer, cementing his status as a future star at Stamford Bridge.
The decision to integrate Estevao directly into the squad contrasts with Chelsea’s usual approach of loaning out young players, signaling a shift in strategy.
He has already earned two caps for Brazil and will join fellow Brazilian youngsters, including Andrey Santos and Deivid Washington, at the club. Chelsea fans are eagerly anticipating his debut in the 2025/26 season.
Estevao has racked up an impressive 11 goals and eight assists in 36 games for Palmeiras this season, earning praise from Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca.
We are following him. He is doing fantastic but unfortunately he is doing fantastic there and not with us. We are going to wait until next summer when he will arrive here but for sure we are very happy in the way he is doing these things.
What’s Next?
Estevao will continue to play for Palmeiras until next summer, when he will join Chelsea’s first-team squad.
