Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a massive €100m move for Barcelona’s Jules Kounde as they look to bolster their defense.

However, sources suggest other targets may be higher on their priority list.

Kounde on Chelsea’s Radar

The Blues have struggled defensively this season, failing to keep a league clean sheet since December.

Reports from Spain indicate that Chelsea are ready to test Barcelona’s resolve with a huge offer for Kounde, who has been ever-present in La Liga this season.

Despite club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco considering him “untouchable,” Barcelona’s financial struggles could force them to entertain a lucrative bid.

Other Defensive Targets

While Kounde is an option, Chelsea are also strongly considering Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen, whose £50m release clause makes him a more affordable alternative.

Nottingham Forest’s Murillo is another possibility, but his £70m price tag and interest from Real Madrid could complicate a potential deal.

Striker Shake-Up at Stamford Bridge?

In attack, Nicolas Jackson has attracted interest from Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Atletico Madrid, raising speculation over his future.

Chelsea could reinvest in a top-class striker, with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Ipswich’s Liam Delap among the names linked.

With a busy summer ahead, Chelsea’s transfer plans remain fluid, but a defensive reinforcement is clearly a priority.
