Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has hinted that 17-year-old Chido Obi-Martin could feature against Arsenal in Sunday’s Premier League showdown at Old Trafford.

With United’s struggles in attack and a long list of injuries disrupting the squad, Amorim acknowledged that the young forward is in consideration for selection.

“Everybody can start,” Amorim said in his pre-match press conference. “If they are training tomorrow [Friday], if they played today [Thursday], they can be ready. Chido is on the list, so he can play.”

United’s Struggles Open the Door for Young Talent

United currently sit 14th in the Premier League table, with their top-four hopes fading.

Their attacking woes have been evident, with Rasmus Højlund’s goal drought extending to 19 matches and Joshua Zirkzee yet to find consistency.

Obi-Martin, who joined United from Arsenal’s academy in 2024, has been making sporadic first-team appearances and impressed in his FA Cup cameo against Fulham.

With United facing a tough challenge against second-placed Arsenal, Amorim may turn to fresh talent as he looks to revive his team’s fortunes.
