Estevao Willian, a 17-year-old Brazilian winger, will join the London club once he turns 18 in 2025. With Chelsea investing up to £56 million in the Palmeiras standout, it’s clear the Blues have high expectations for the player often compared to Lionel Messi in his homeland.
Despite not yet arriving at Stamford Bridge, Estevao has already started building connections with his future teammates.

“Messi’s my reference. Watching him play has always inspired me, especially since I’m left-footed like him,” Estevao explained. “Of course, I admire Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo too. Messi’s talent and Ronaldo’s dedication are what I strive for.”
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, known for nurturing young talent, will likely play a vital role in Estevao’s transition to the Premier League. As Estevao joins a squad with an array of attacking options, he’s prepared to compete with established players like Noni Madueke and the in-form Cole Palmer.
