Chelsea’s struggles continue after a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City, leaving them seventh in the table and 13 points off the top.
Former Blues midfielder John Obi Mikel believes the team must upgrade goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and striker Nicolas Jackson to compete for the Premier League title.
Sanchez has looked vulnerable in goal.

Speaking on The Obi One Podcast, Mikel criticized Sanchez, who has committed the most errors leading to goals this season.
“He’s not a top, top keeper. We need players good enough to win the league,” Mikel said.
Jackson is struggling with a goal drought.

Jackson, on a seven-game goal drought, also came under scrutiny. “He’s not the striker that will win us the league. We need another top striker,” Mikel added.
Manager Enzo Maresca is reportedly considering lineup changes as Chelsea aim to revive their season.
