Liverpool took another step toward Premier League glory with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.
Mohamed Salah’s brilliance secured the win, reaffirming the Reds’ dominance at the top of the table.
A Tough Test Passed with Flying Colours
Bournemouth had already beaten Arsenal and Manchester City at home this season and were on an 11-game unbeaten streak.
They gave Liverpool a real challenge, hitting the post twice and even finding the net, only for VAR to rule it out.
However, Liverpool held firm. Salah converted a first-half penalty before curling in a superb second goal to seal the win, setting a new Premier League record.

Goalkeeper Alisson also made a crucial save to deny Antoine Semenyo when the game was finely balanced at 1-0.
Arne Slot’s Side Remains Relentless
Liverpool’s new manager, Arne Slot, has transformed the team into a resilient force. They have now gone 19 Premier League matches unbeaten and remain in the hunt for multiple trophies.
Slot praised his team’s effort, saying:
You need a team performance, a work rate, and individual quality. I want them to fight from the first to last second to get the maximum results – that’s what you need to do to have any chance in this league.
Liverpool now sit six points clear at the top, with Arsenal maintaining their position in second place following their recent victory over Manchester City.
Can Liverpool Go All the Way?
With just 15 games remaining, Liverpool look poised for their 20th English league title. They are also competing in the Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup, proving their strength across all competitions.
Alisson summed up the team’s mentality:
It’s a great result away from home. We showed great desire, mentality, and quality. Bournemouth are really intense, but we matched them.
